Context

Mexico City is one of Latin America’s most difficult contexts for the church. Crime, lack of infrastructure, over-population, corruption, and high costs are just a few of the obstacles that face the smattering of evangelical churches in this city of 22 million. Despite challenging conditions, this faithful minority has continued to steadily grow over the past decade. It is clear that at this hinge point Mexico City is in need of more growing churches. History

Mission Mexico City was established in 2001 to serve Mexican churches through leadership training, youth ministry development, and Spanish-language Christian curriculum writing and distribution. Now, Mission Mexico City is opening a new chapter with a call to indigenous church planting in Mexico City. More »
